We Have Big Dreams
Kuda Vana’s teachers put their heart and soul into preparing their students for a bright future. Here is what Madame Prudence, our preschool- 2nd grade teacher had to say about some of her students:
There is nothing that warms a teacher’s heart than students who are active, zealous and always eager to learn new things. This is the case with the Kindergartners. Wednesdays have become my favorite days of the week because they always challenge me to prepare more and more work for them. They are always eager and ready to learn new numbers, consonants, vowels, blends and words. There is stiff competition among them and constructive criticism.
Munashe has a very strong appetite for learning. He is one smart boy who thrives to excel and do his work to perfection. His performance is very impressive in all the areas. He doesn’t like it when he fails to complete a given task on his own or fails to read a new word.
The Kindergartners are very lucky to have a darling sister Tatenda. She is the most responsible student in the class. She takes pride in assisting her fellow peers whenever they are challenged with some tasks. Tatenda is always the first to grasp new concepts and comprehend. She is now able to read one vowel words and short sentences without any difficulties.
Tania is one student whose handwriting skills is very exceptional and her penmanship is breath taking. She is an average performer but a very promising student. Her reading is not too good yet but her passion makes it easier to accept corrections and move forward.
Masimba excels in almost every area. His penmanship is quite captivating. He is gifted in math and also language. He can read short vowel words and sentences very well. He is always competing with Tatenda. He is very stubborn and finds it difficult to concentrate during lessons.
Mercy is in first grade and is a very intelligent girl whose performance is exceptionally well in all areas. She can read and comprehend instructions in her work book. She even assists Vongai in reading long vowel sound words.
Vongai is in 2nd grade and likes the whole idea of being the big sis and takes pride in assisting others, especially the Kindergartners. She is gifted in all areas, can now read fluently and comprehend.
I am thankful for the opportunity to teach these children and help guide them towards a bright future!
