Tsano finds his smile

When one enters Hope House, also known as the Nursery at Kuda Vana Children’s Home, one cannot help noticing a cute, sweet handsome, but shy little boy of about 2.5 years in the house.  Shy as he is, he will sometimes cast shy glances at the visitor, while he hides behind other  babies or sometimes clinging onto dear mummy like his life depends on her.  One thing about this little cutie is that if you get used to each other, one cannot help falling in love with the sweetness that lies behind all of the shyness.  This boy is none other than Tsano.

Tsano’s big, pensive eyes notice everything. When he smiles, it truly lights up a room!

Tsano arrived at Kuda Vana on the 4th of May 2018.  He was only 4 months old.  He seemed like a healthy boy, but he was not as happy as a baby should be.  His smiles were very scarce and cost a fortune to get one. But when God leads you to Kuda Vana, He definitely wants you to experience joy, love and happiness at its best and you are bound to smile eventually.

Tsano was a lone player who enjoyed being alone, playing with toys all by himself.  He was not very friendly to the other babies, which showed him off as a sad and unhappy baby.  We were all worried about him and did not want him to feel sad and lonely in a place full of bubbly, vibrant and extremely happy children.  At Kuda Vana, every child is guaranteed of extra love and care.  There is no place for sadness and loneliness and Tsano was not going to be one sad baby.

When God leads you to Kuda Vana, He definitely wants you to experience joy, love and happiness at its best and you are bound to smile eventually.

Tsano’s sweet smile is such a treasure!

The caregivers and other children showed Tsano all the love and care that their hearts could pour out on him.  Although it took him some time to really open up his little heart to receive all the love poured out on him, eventually he did. With all the love and laughter around him, his little heart, just like a rose opening up to the warmth of the morning sunshine, opened up to suck up all that love.

With time Tsano began to smile and voila!  Tsano has the most beautiful smile.  He began to interact with the other children well, share toys with them and feel very much at home.  He has found a safe place at Kuda Vana, where peace and love is given from one another in abundance.  His smiles are a daily thing now and whenever he smiles at you in the morning, be sure to know that it is going to be a good day.
