Building Her Own Future

Nesta enjoys her work, and according to her employer she “has the touch” to be a real success!

KudaVana has good reputation of identifying skills in children and help them to chase dreams. 18-year-old Nesta* is the perfect example. Nesta has been with Kuda Vana since she was young, and has grown in to a kind, caring young woman who has a gentle touch with children. Academics are not Nesta’s talent, but she was given a chance to explore the world and make a life for herself through a Beauty Therapy Program in the local town of Mutare. 

Nesta is now training to become a professional Beauty Therapist, and lives independently and under the watchful eye of her employer while she pursues a two-year certificate in Beauty Therapy. She has a strong passion for what she is doing, and enjoys giving massages, pedicures and more to her clients. This vocation is the perfect match for Nesta’s personality and skills. I recently had the opportunity to visit her, and she was well prepared and displayed high levels of professionalism.

Nesta is looking forward to a bright future where she might own her own salon one day and provide for herself and her family.
