Every few months we ask our caregivers, or “Mamas” to write about each of their children. There is so much to share! We hope you enjoy hearing about one of our teenagers, Rejoice, who has overcome incredible tragedy and is now a shining light in her home.
“Rejoice is a cool and cute girl, humble and very social. She is very helpful in the house, which is a big deal when you have ten children ages three to 17! .
The other day she did a very good thing, and I did not expect it at her age. She noticed that the babies had messed their diapers, she took them and changed them without saying a word. I asked her why she did not tell me, she only smiled and said “Mama, is there anything wrong if I help you? I also want to learn how to take care of the babies.” I was so happy for what she did. It shows that she is growing and she is becoming very responsible.
Rejoice stays focused on her school work, and is doing well. She has ambitions for a better future. Thank you for providing her an opportunity to thrive!”
